Outline of Annual Research Achievements

精神疾患における神経グリア相関異常を解明するためのトランスレーショナル研究を推進しており、平成28年度は、双極性障害患者から血液由来ミクログリア様（iMG）細胞を作製し、解析を行った。3名の患者由来iMG細胞において、躁状態の時と比べてうつ状態の時にCD206の遺伝子発現が亢進していることを見出すことが出来た（Ohgidani et al. Frontiers in Immunology 2017）。来年度は、さらに症例を増やして、妥当性を検証してゆく予定である。

Reason

精神疾患患者から血液由来ミクログリア様（iMG）細胞を作製し、解析を行っており、いくつかの興味深い知見をFrontiers in Immunology誌をはじめとする国際学術誌に掲載することが出来たため。

今後も、iMG細胞の作製、解析を続けてゆく。

Causes of Carryover

平成28年度は研究代表者の所属するレドックスナビ研究拠点の閉鎖にともない、幾つかの実験を実施することが出来なかったため。

Expenditure Plan for Carryover Budget

平成29年度に前年度に実施出来なかった実験を実施する予定である。
