Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of this project was to investigate coordination control in facial muscle activities, mouthpiece force and oral pressure while playing the brass instruments. Experimental results showed significant relationships between the magnitudes of facial muscle activity and mouthpiece force, and between the magnitudes of mouthpiece force and oral pressure. These findings were presented to international and domestic conferences and made open to the public through outreach activities.
