Outline of Final Research Achievements |
This study is focused on the reason why Autobiography of Mark Twain published in 2010 had got so enormous reputation in this 21st century as to be listed on the top of New York Times' best seller's list. As analyzing more of 400 reviews devoted to the book in Amazon.com, most of the contemporary readers received this book not a book of Mark Twain's personal records but a kind of book which records living history observed by Mark Twain. My study points out the reason of this reception in the way called "autobiographical dictation."
