平成28年度において、医学の社会史学会大会「その場所における医学：医学を歴史的文脈に位置づける(Medicine in its place: situating medicine in historical contexts)」（於ケント大学；平成28年7月8日）において、「量化された自己：19世紀末から20世紀初頭のイングランドにおける臨床体温計測法（The "quantified self" in history: clinical thermometry in England between the late nineteenth and early twentieth century）」と題した国際的な成果公表を行ったことを受けて、平成29年度においては、国際的な学術雑誌への論文の投稿を行った。論文題目は「使われる医療技術：近代イギリス・日本における体温計測の歴史から」（Medical technology in use: a history of clinical thermometry in modern Britain and Japan）、投稿先はEast Asian Science, Technology, and Society: An International Journalである。採択結果は2018年4月30日時点で判明していないが、この論文の発表によって、本研究が目的とする国際的な学術誌への成果公表という目的は達せられることとなる。
