２０１７年度招聘予定だったマサチューセッツ工科大のAlexei Borodin教授を氏の都合により、本年度招聘した。Alexei
Borodin教授は氏の最新の研究について、セミナーを行い、研究代表者とともに、非可換変数からなるランダム行列の表現論について議論した。特にカリフォルニア大学サンディエゴ校Jonathan Novakとポーランド科学アカデミーのPiotr Sniadyとの共同研究の結果の拡張について研究打ち合わせを行った。
