Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In directional detection of dark matter, not only recoil energy but also dark matter direction are expected to be detected. Some N-body simulation of dark matter suggest that the dark matter velocity distribution has anisotropic component. Directional detector is suitable to verify the anisotropy. By investigating data of Monte-Carlo simulation of dark matter scattering, we find that about O(10000) event number is required to check the anisotropy for both gas and solid directional detector.
