Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we found a characteristic low-energy peak structure in the optical conductivity spectra of a quasi-2D organic compound with a triangular lattice, θ-(BEDT-TTF)2CsZn(SCN)4, in which competition between two kinds of charge-ordering patterns leads to a glassy CO state. We also performed optical conductivity measurements under high pressure for an antiferromagnetic dimer-Mott insulator β'-(BEDT-TTF)2ICl2 that shows superconductivity at 14.2 K under 8 GPa, which revealed that charge fluctuations inside of dimers plays an important role in the high-temperature superconductivity.
