Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We designed and constructed RNA-protein complex-based functional molecular robots that exert desired funtions in response to proteins. The functional molecular robots consisting of RNA and protein can be constructed within live cells. We demonstrated that mammalian cell fate can be controlled using functional molecular robots. Construction of a molecular robot that functions in a particular cell will be useful for medical applications.
