Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Sodium ion rechargeable batteries have recently attracted considerable interest as one of post lithium ion rechargeable batteries because of sodium's low cost and natural abundance. To this end, it is very important to develop sodium fast ionic conductors which can be used as solid electrolytes for the sodium ion rechargeable batteries. In this study, we have succeeded in synthesizing new solid-state hydrides such as Na2B10H10, Na2B12H12, NaCB9H10 and NaCB11H12 with fast ionic conductivities.
