Outline of Final Research Achievements |
For future QTL analysis, I conducted preparation of resource family using a unique quail line found in commercial gene pool, measurement of economic traits, and development of polymorphic microsatellite markers. Body weight and some egg traits were significantly different between two quail lines used as a parental generation of the resource family. This resource family will be helpful for efficient QTL analysis.
