Outline of Final Research Achievements |
As utilization situation in dialysis facilities of "Guideline on establishment of clinical ethics committee and its utilization" in dialysis facilities, 28. 2% utilized facilities and 71.7% were not utilized facilities. The types of facilities utilized were 100% for general hospitals and 0% for no-floor general clinics. In the future, it was suggested that it is necessary to work on the solution to the ethical problems faced by nurses in dialysis facilities.① Construction of a multidisciplinary dialogue support system unique to the dialysis facility using the guidelines. ② Ethics education to nurses.

Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
透析患者が外来透析治療を受ける施設としては、入院病床のある一般病院と入院病床のないクリニック等の一般診療所とあり、その施設によって倫理的問題への取り組み状況に差があるという現状が明らかになった。 2019年3月初旬に、メディアで大きく報道された透析中止のような事例に対し、看護師がどのように関わる必要があるのかを現状を明らかにしたことから示唆を得ることが出来た。 今後増加が予測される透析中止や透析非導入に関わる上で、更に研究を発展させていく必要性が見出せた。
