Outline of Final Research Achievements |
We employed genome-wide pharmacogenomics studies to identify candidate polymorphisms that could influence overall survival (OS) or adverse effects (AEs) in advanced pancreatic cancer (PC) patients. As a result, advanced PC patients with the rs4149086 AG or GG genotype may obtain good clinical results when treated with S-1 containing regimens. Additionally, we detected the candidate SNPs which could influence OS or AEs in genome-wide association study (GWAS). And also, we developed a new statistical method for detecting candidate SNPs in a GWAS.
