Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The effect of treatment of BNCT greatly depends on quantity of the boron taken in by intratumorale boron and the distribution. A purpose of this research is to establish the micro-imaging techniques of the intratumoral boron distribution. Firstly I classified the Cho/Cr value acquired using 1H-MRS in four stages according to the grade of the brain tumor. And Cho/Cr value allotted to four colors was imaged in each voxel. As a result, the image of the Cho/Cr value matched up to a T2-weighted image. It means that the border with a normal region and the tumor region was distinguished clearly. Furthermore, it was confirmed that the intratumoral grade was heterogeneous.
