Outline of Final Research Achievements |
The purpose of the research was to empirically study and consider women's reversion-to-Japan movement in Okinawa under US occupation. I clarify actions about the reversion in Okinawa teachers association and Okinawa women's federation as leading groups by collecting primary documents and interviews. I analyzed relation between the two, points in common, differences, influence of women's Okinawa reversion movement in Japan, perspective of women, perspective of men, influence for women's movement by reversion-to-Japan movement in Okinawa, and considered characteristics women's reversion-to-Japan movement in Okinawa.
