Research Abstract |
In this study, new methods of estimation of basin-wide snow water equivarent are presented. One of them is a method of using snow covered area derived from LANDSAT MSS data by Kishihara and another on is a heat balance method estimating solar and earth radiation with sunshine duration by Kondo. the last one is a developed degree-day method by Ohta. On the compution of snowpack and snowmelt in snowmelt runoff analysis, Sato is presented a new method by using the contribution rate to snowpack and the contribution rate to snowmelt. These new methods apply to estimate basin-wide snow water equivarent and showmelt runoff at Yuda basin in Tohoku district. The results of these application show good fittness to these actual data.
