Research Abstract |
Today's rural society has gravely influenced by the agricultural policies under the Comprehensive Agricultural Policy to reorganize the agricultural structure with a view to acceding to the demands for the industrialization and open market of Japanese agriculture , started in 1970s. The policies such as concentration of farm lund on core farmers reorganization of paddy field utilization and introduction of industrial plants into farm areas eto , were the very policies mentioned above. And then , it was the most remarkable feature of these policies that not only the improvement of the conditions of agricultural prodction was carried out under these policies , but this productive improvement was accompnied by the improvement of environment for the farmer's life and the rural community organization . Furthermore , these policies have been , systemticaly and continuously , carried out. In this study , we intend to examine what chenges of rural society in Tohoku district these policies have brought about and what attitudes farmers in Tohoku have took tward these policies. Then , in order to achieve these our aims , we have conducted the empirical reseachs for the cases of Kitaaizu Village ( the case of reorganization of paddy field utilization ), Ryozen Town ( the case of concentration of farm land on core farmers , chiefly on full-time farmers), Miharu Town (the case of introduction of industrial plants intofarm area) , in Fukusima Prefecture.
