Research Abstract |
Summary of this project is as follows. 1. Theoretical analysis of spin-specific vibronic coupling and discussion in association with Cooper Pair. 2. Calculations of the electronic structures of miscellaneous conductive polymers including novel polymers. 3. Theoretical analysis of interchain conduction mechanism in lightly-doped polyacetylene. 4. Experimental and theoretical analyses of polythiophene and poly(3-methylthiophene). 5. Experimental analyses of electric transport properties of the pristine and the doped polyacenic materials prepared by pyrolytic treatment of phenol-formaldehyde resin.
