Research Abstract |
1. Twelve cultured human pancreatic cancer cell lines were established and it was demonstrated that they were good model of human pancreatic duct cell cancer. 2. Anti-tumor chemo and radio sensitivity test of pancreatic cancer 1) Pancreatic cancer cell lines showed good responses to anti-tumor drugs at clinically achievable concentration 2) Pancreatic cancer, though resistant to irradiation, to irradiation at high irradiation dose level with the use of hypoxic cell sensitizer showed elevated response PK-23. 3. Monoclonal antibody F-30 which specifically reacted with human pancreatic cancer was produced. Pancreatic cancer associated antigen detected by McAb F-30 was cell membrane integrated protein with molecular weight of 190,000 dalton. 4. Analysis of <^(131)I> -labeled antibody F30 to detect tumor localization was performed. 5. Human derives anti-human pancreatic cancer antibody was obtained using EB virus transformed B cell lines established from regional lymph node cells. But this B cell line was unstable about their ability to secrete antibody. 6. Pancreatic cancer call clustes were detected in cytology from perfusate of gastroduodenal artery in resected specimen. 7. Anti-tumor chemoshsitivity test was performed using ADM encapsulated in liposome and it was shown that encapsulated ADM was less effective than free ADN.
