| Research Abstract |
In case of hyper IgE syndrome, T lymphocyte dysfunction causes decline of IL-2 production and response. It makes difficult to be formed the specific protection against Staph. aureua which causes recurrent Staph. aureus infections. Staph. aureus as a allergen stimulates the production of IgE antibody, and elevated levels of serum IgE is caused by defect of suppressor T lymphocyte function. In conclusion, a defect of specific protection against Staph. aureus and a allergic reaction to Staph. aureus are the basic causes of this syndrome.
