Research Abstract |
We discovered the Fibrin-forming ability as one of the methods of estimating the vital reaction in injured tissue, that is, the ability of forming fibrin is found on the slice of the tissues in ante-mortem wound, but don't in post-mortem. We presented the paper of this ability in the 57th Conference of Medico-Legal Society of Japan (1973). 1. A new method of determination of Fibrin-forming ability by the use of micro-plate SV. The another reported a new method for determining the vital reaction of injured skin at 1984, which was bared on determination of the Fibrin-forming ability of injured skin by the use of FITC conjugated fibrinogen. The present method is essentially the same as above, but is highly improved in employing the following instruments: millititer plate type SV, vacum holder, millititer fluorescent photometer and computer. (1) Possibility of determining the ability by minute quantity of samples. (2) Rapid determination of many samples. (3) Speedy management of data. (4) Simple procedure. 2. The observation on Fibrin-forming ability of the incised wound, burn and frost-bite by above new method. We found characteristic results of the ability in each injury. Above results show, that this ability apply to distinct between ante- and post-mortem wound and to estimate the age of wound.
