Research Abstract |
The classification of antiarrhythmic drugs was proposed from the standpoint of ventricular excitability. The following parameters for this purpose were obtained by the anodal stimulation and anodal train pulses of 50 Hrz; relative refractory period RRP (threshold was 1mA),endodiastolic threshold (EDT), supernormal period (CSP), dip phenomenon(DP) and ventricular fibrillation threshold (VFI) which was determined by the 50 Hrz train pulses less than the current intensity of 1 mA and the duration of 1.8 sec.The antiarrhythmic drugs may be classified into 5 groups by these parameter in the table. Lidocaine was included in E grorp, Procaineamid in B for example. RRP(1mA) EDT DP & SP VFT (prolonged) (increased) (disappear) (increased) A + - - - B + - - + C + + - + D + - + + E + + + +
