Research Abstract |
1. A neutron spin-echo spectrometer has been designed, manufactured and tested with successful results as expected. It consists of the fo-llowing main parts : neutron velocity selector, neutron polarzer(an-analyzer) and two superconducting magnets. 2. Spin fluctuation in Fe-Ni invar alloy near the Curie temperature has been observed by means of neutron spin echo method. 3. A preliminary discussion was made for designing a neutron spin echo spectrometer to be installed at the innovated reactor JRR-3 at JAERI, Tokai, Japan. 4. A report on the results of our present study on neutron spin echo sp-ectroscopy together with our previous study on neutron small angle scattering at Kyoto University Reactor (KUR) was presented.
