Research Abstract |
Recently many foreign students come to our country to learn at university. However, Japanese language is essential to communicate each other and they must learn at the beginning after coming to Japan. Then, CAI (Computer Assisted Instruction) system for learning Japanese language is effective for them because number of terachers is so limitted. In this research project, Special CAI system which consists of micro-computer and video disk player was developed. The reason why we use a video disk player is that natural image and sound must be important for foreigners to learn conversation. The characteristic of this system is that students can control videl disk by themselves when they study CAI course. It enables them to study positively. we also measured the replation between usage of control button and resujt.
