Research Abstract |
Geometry has progressed rapidly since 10 years, that is, Geometry has been related to other branches of mathematics and physics. We had planed and worked as follows: (1) to hold meetings and conference in order to learn and study some new methods in Geometry, in particular, one of M. Gromov, (2) to hold meetings and conference in order to learn the method and philosophy of famous geometers in the world, in particular, A. Weinstein, S.-S. Chern, W.-Y. Hsiang and N. Mok. I think that this project works very nicely for young geometers in Japan.
