| Research Abstract |
During the past two years, six meetings were held under the sponsorship of this research project. There were more than one hundred attendants in some meetings. Among the attendants were included Dr. Hecht-Nielsen of Hecht-Nielsen Neurocomputer Corporation and Prof. Sejnowski of the Johns Hopkins University. Furthermore, there were more and more attendants from the industry. In addition, some of the investigators of this project played important roles internationally as the editors of international journal and as chairs of international conferences related to this rapidly emerging field.
Many important papers were published by the investigators of this project. They are related to neurophysiological studies, psychological studies, and modelling studies related to perception, cognition, voluntary movements, etc. Most of the papers appear in the report of this project. It contains the reports related to international meetings and conferences, too.
