| Research Abstract |
We intend to clarify the subsistence structure of the provincial city, Ueda City in Nagano Prefecture.The features of the subsistence structure of provincial city is influenced by,chiefly,the trend of industrial structure,the state of the labor and life of inhavitants and their organization,and the administrative policy of local government. From this point of view,we have investigated:
(1) the industrial structure in Ueda City.
(2) the subsistence structure of local campanies(manifacturing industry).
(3) the gricaltural structure in Ueda City.
(4) the Local Labor Market and the life problem of inhavitants,espesially,farmers with s side job and one parent families formed by divorce.
Hereafter,it is necessary for us to generalize results found by these investigations,and to clarify the features of subsistence structure in Ueda City, in comparison with other provincial city.
