Research Abstract

近年精密な観測により、太陽をはじめ、磁変星、白色矮星、早期型星(B型星)等の色々な恒星が様々な固有振動モードで振動していることが明らかになって来た。本研究は、これら多数の固有振動を使って、直接目で見る事の出来ない太陽や恒星の内部構造を探る「陽震学(日震学)及び「星震学」の方法論を観測・理論両面において確立し、もって太陽及び恒星の内部構造を解明することを目的としている。本年度は、
1.Be型星における質量放出と固有振動との関係を明らにするため、長期間に亘る観測を行ない、前年度に開発した方法により、振動モードの同定を行なった。
この結果、Be型星の一つである蛇遣座5星については、少なくとも輝線の見られない静穏時においては、振動モードのグループは長期に亘り同一であることを示した。
2.太陽のPモード振動のスペクトルの逆問題を解いて太陽内部の音速分布を求める方法を前年度に開発したが、この方法の数値的性質を更に詳細に調べ、観測データにこれを適用した結果についても詳細に検討した。
3.上記の方法とは別に、逆問題としては線型のものに限定される一方で、適用対象はより一般的な方法を開発し、この数値的性質を調べた。
4.2の方法の拡張により、同様の漸近解析に基づいて太陽内部の密度分布を求める方法を開発した。
5.回転星において、回転が固有振動に及びす影響を考慮した上で、固有振動がスペクトルの線輪郭変化に及ぼす影響を考察した。
