| Research Abstract |
1.代数多様体および複素解析的多様体の持つ特異点を種々の観点から研究した. (1)正標数の場合も込めた特異点解消を行うために必要な無限近点の解析 (2)特異点解消の結果得られる除外集合の概念を発展させ,トーリック因子の理論を構成した. (3)新種の特異点を構成する過程で,非ケーラー多様体の新しい例を多数発見した.
2.保型函数の研究の関連して,ゼータ函数,L函数を構成,研究し,その函数等式,留数,特殊値を調べた. その結果の幾何学的意味が多数発見できた. またp進数論的解析も行った.
3.複素多様体の研究として次のものを行った. (1)分岐被覆の構成を,フックス型微分方程式と関連づけて行った. (2)複素有界領域,特に管状領域を群論的立場から分類した. (3)コンパクト等質ケーラー多様体内の完全交叉について,トレリ問題の研究を行った. (4)群論的手法で構成した特異点を持つ解析多様体上のアインシュタインケーラー計量,コンパクトでない多様体上のケーラー計量の研究を行った.
4.数理物理学の超弦理論,共形的場の理論を,代数幾何学,特に数論的代数幾何学の立場からの定式化, 書換えを行った.
5.代数群の表現に関連して,代数解析的手法を実に発展させ,アフィンワイル群のセル表現と既約指標との関連,ヘッケ環との関連,原始表現などについて数々の新しい知見を得た.
6.国内,海外の重要研究者との情報交換,研究交流を種極的に行った.
