Research Abstract |
The purpose of this project is to obtain silicon-iron alloy sheets having the {110}<001> grain texture and low iron loss by cold-rolling and annealing rapidly quenched silicon-iron ribbon containing 4-6 wt% silicon. As a result, we succeeded to realize the sheets having good {110}<001> texture by the rolling with high reduction rate per pass. These sheets have excellent magnetic properties such as high magnetic induction B8 of 1.86, low coercive force of 6.0 A/m and low iron losses 0.22 W/kg (W_<12.5/50> 0.32 W/kg (W_<15/50>) and 0.51 W/kg (W_<17/50>).
