Research Abstract |
(1) Field and literature investigation of the drift on chemical spraying in pear orchard, Tottori prefecture. The investigations of the chemical spraying conditions in pear orchards has been studied. These investigation has been done in both actual orchards and in many literatures in regard to this problems. (2) Declination Performance of Spraying particles by using of small type Speed Sprayer and Power Sprayer. The model leaf are made by paper. Spraying particles are caught and measured by microscope, and also took by photography. This drift measurement method is very useful for this kind experiments. (3) Injection performance from the nozzle hole. Power sprayer, gun nozzle, short boom nozzle are used in case of injection application experiment. Small type speed sprayer was used in case of blow application experiment. In the model test field, air velocity and wind direction are measured exactly. (4) Penetration experiments of particles in the bush. For controlling chemical particles drift, Aron-A is used in each concentration 0, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, --- 5.0 %. This method was very effectively for controlling particles drift.
