Outline of Annual Research Achievements

生物運動のモデリングのための動的スパースモデリングの理論を検討し,スパースかつ連続な運動を生成する最適制御の定式化を考察した.その結果,CLOT (Combined L-One and Two) ノルムと呼ばれる評価関数が有効であることを発見し,スパースかつ連続な制御信号を得ることが可能となった.鳥類や二足歩行など,動物の運動はスパースではあるが,不連続では有りえないので,CLOTノルムの定式化は自然である.本結果は,University of Texas at Dallas および Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad との国際共同研究により国際会議IFAC World CongressやSICE Annual Conference 等に国際会議論文論文として発表した.現在,その成果を学術論文にまとめて,制御分野の国際トップジャーナルに投稿中である.

また医療データは時系列信号であり,その生成モデルとして動的システムを仮定すれば,信号推定問題は動的スパースモデリングの問題として定式化される.特に,データが離散値を取る場合について,その動的スパースモデリングにもとづく定式化を行い,IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control や IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing 等の国際トップジャーナルで発表した.
