Outline of Annual Research Achievements

筆者らは金属基板表面を反応場とする、新しい触媒の開発研究を行っている。そして、この一連の研究を通じて、「金基板をピラニア溶液(硫酸と過酸化水素水の混合液)で処理した硫黄修飾金」を「酢酸パラジウムのキシレン溶液」で処理することにより、「自己組織的多層状パラジウムナノ粒子触媒(Self-assembled Au-supported multi-layer Pd(0) nano catalyst, SAPd(0))」を得る、その場ナノ粒子・ナノ細孔同時調整法(in situ PSSO法)の開発に成功している。SAPd(0)を用いるとリガンドフリー鈴木―宮浦カップリングやリガンドフリーBuchwald-Hartwig反応が進行すること、SAPd(0)は本カップリング反応に10回以上繰り返し利用可能であること、反応溶液中のパラジウム漏洩量は1 桁~2桁ppbレベルと世界最小レベルであることを見いだしている。なお、トンネル型走査顕微鏡(TEM)とX線吸収微細構造(XAFS)分析を用いてSAPd(0)の構造解析実験を行った結果、SAPd(0)は多層状パラジウムナノパーティクル(Pd(0)Np、約5 nm)であることが明らかになっている。
一方、元素戦略上、Pdカップリング反応を他の元素で置き換えることは重要である(Pd:4,551円/g、Fe:50銭/g 2018年12月21日現在)。先ず、SAPd(0)の調整法を参考に、硫黄修飾金を様々な鉄化合物の各種溶液中で加熱し、種々検討したが、硫黄修飾金上にナノ粒子膜は形成されなかった。そこで、様々な還元剤を用いて上記実験について更に検討を加えた結果、ピラジン誘導体を還元剤として用いた場合に、目的のSAFe(0) が形成されることが分かった。

in situナノ空間制御法の理論的制御を達成するため、下に示した4反応条件のin situナノ空間制御法に及ぼす影響を調査した結果、目的としていた鉄(0)ナノ粒子触媒の作製に成功した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity
