Outline of Final Research Achievements |
In this study, we proposed a novel hypothesis based on the "network pathology" that the emergence of neuropsychiatric disorders and functional recovery from them involve alterations (reorganization) of dynamic networks based on oscillation. As an experimental intervention research group in this project, we conducted joint research with group A, group C, and other accepted groups to search for new oscillation phenomena in healthy people and patients with neuropsychiatric disorders, and developed biomarkers for movement disorders such as stroke and Parkinson's disease. We have succeeded in developing a human brain plasticity induction method by controlling oscillation and demonstrated the rehabilitation effect in hemiparetic patients with stroke.
