Outline of Annual Research Achievements

本研究は、金属元素を立体制御、反応場、物性発現の場と捉え、これまで未開拓であった金属錯体における非対称配位圏の設計・合成と異方集積化法を理論・実験・計測により開拓することを目的とした。
2019年度は、先に開発した四面体型の亜鉛錯体およびオキソバナジウム(V=O)に加えて、四面体型の鉄錯体の合成に焦点を当てた。ニトロシル基を有する鉄(0)トリカルボニル錯体を出発原料とし、カルベン型配位子とジアゾ配位子をァルボニル配位子と交換し、ラセミ体のChiral-at-iron錯体の合成に成功した。鉄ニトロシル錯体の鉄の酸化数は永年議論されていたが、本研究でメスバウアー測定などを駆使し、鉄(II)に酸化されていることが明らかになった。次の課題である光学分割を現在検討中である。また、キラルな亜鉛錯体による不斉反応の反応条件の最適化を進め、最高91% eeに不斉収率を得ることができた。さらに、キラルなオキソバナジウム錯体の不斉誘導を進め、光学純度の向上のための反応条件を検討中である。
これら以外に、キラルなカルベン型配位子を用いた炭素中心の金(I)クラスターの合成に成功し、金6核部分の歪みにより炭素中心キラリティーの発生に成功した。この歪みは、溶液中でも維持されることがわかり、その安定性と配位子の構造との相関関係も明らかになった。今年度の研究実績の一部は、国際学術誌3報に発表され、国内外で高く評価されている。

2: Research has progressed on the whole more than it was originally planned.

Reason

以下に、今年度の代表的な研究成果と共同研究体制を示し、本研究がおおむね順調に進展している理由を述べる。
1. 金属中心キラリティーを有する亜鉛錯体の不斉誘導および不斉反応への応用:アキラルな非対称三座配位子を用いて、キラルな四面体型金属錯体を構築した。ラセミ体平衡混合物に光学活性な単座配位子(アミノアルコール)を不斉補助剤を配位させることにより、ジアステレオマー比が50:1まで大きく偏ることがわかった(96% de)。この亜鉛錯体に配位した不斉補助剤をアキラルなニトリル配位子に置換し結晶化したところ、99.9%以上の光学純度をもつchiral-at-zinc錯体を得ることができ、非プロトン性溶媒中では亜鉛中心の絶対配置と光学純度が保たれることが明らかになった。本錯体を不斉オキサ・ディールス・アルダー反応の触媒として用い、室温で87% eeの不斉収率を達成できた。
2. オキソバナジウム錯体の金属中心キラリティーの動的平衡制御:フェノール性アルコラートを配位ドナーとする非対称二座配位子を用いて、キラルなオキソバナジウム錯体を合成した。光学活性配位子を用いて、ジアステレオ選択的な反応を検討中である。
3. ニトロシル基を有する鉄(0)トリカルボニル錯体を出発原料とし、カルベン型配位子とジアゾ配位子をァルボニル配位子と交換し、ラセミ体のChiral-at-iron錯体の合成に成功した。鉄ニトロシル錯体の鉄の酸化数は永年議論されていたが、本研究でメスバウアー測定などを駆使し、鉄(II)に酸化されていることが明らかになった。次の課題である光学分割を現在検討中である。
【領域内共同研究】江原G (A01)と理論分子設計、分子間相互作用および反応機構に関する理論研究を行った。
【国際共同研究】コロナ禍のため、オンラインによりドイツのMeggers G等と情報共有を行った。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

2020年度は3名の研究協力者、1名のポスドク、5名の大学院生を配置し、以下の研究実施計画を遂行する予定である。
1. 金属中心キラリティーを有する窒化モリブデン錯体の合成と動的平衡制御:アキラルな非対称二座配位子は、四面体型窒化金属(M=N-)錯体に金属中心キラリティーを生じさせることが可能である。多くの窒化金属錯体は触媒能を有するため、不斉反応への発展が期待される。亜鉛およびオキソバナジウム錯体の結果を踏まえて、ラセミ混合物の動的平衡制御を試み、金属中心の絶対配置と配置安定性を調べる。また、それらを用いて様々な不斉触媒反応を検討する。
2. 亜鉛錯体に用いた非対称三座配位子を用いて、四面体型ニッケルおよびコバルト錯体を合成し、酸化還元触媒への適用を検討する。
3. カルベン型配位子を用いた炭素中心の金(I)クラスターの合成法を基に、銀(I)イオンやCu(I)イオンを含む構造的に非対称なヘテロ金属クラスターへの展開を図る。また、キラルなカルベン型配位子の結合に誘起される金6核部分の歪みにより炭素中心キラリティーを発生させ、これらの溶液中および結晶中の物性や反応性を調べる。
