In this study, we constructed a variety of three-dimensional metal structures with planar chirality by combining various phosphorescent transition metal platforms with organic linkers, and investigated relationship between their molecular mobility and assembly-chirality ability, and luminescence properties, to develop highly functional luminescent materials. First, we selected hetero-atom coordination platinum complexes with flexible coordination planes, which have potential luminescence but are non-luminescent in solution state at room temperature, and constructed novel luminescent materials with various planar chirality having unique three-dimensional structures such as wavelike, washcloth, and tongue.Then, we developed the chiral assembly and accumulation method of them, and clarified the relationship between molecular assembly state and chiral optical properties.
