| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
Using the methodlogies of emergent constructive approach, we were responsible for integrating theoretical hypotheses and empirical evidence, thereby providing new hypotheses. The following three points have been elucidated: the evolutionary mechanisms of generating hierarchical structure and intention sharing necessary for linguistic communication; the process of emergence and development of symbolic communication; and the cultural evolutionary processes and mechanisms of language within society. In particular, novel insights have been presented regarding the evoluvability of hierarchical structure and intention sharing, as well as the computational principles underlying intention sharing. Furthermore, we have contributed to the achievement of the area's goal to propose co-creative communication methods with innovative ideas and methodologies utilizing and integrating the achievements related to hierarchy and intention sharing.

| Academic Significance and Societal Importance of the Research Achievements |
ヒトは記号コミュニケーションを通じて新しい概念を創発し、コミュニケーションシステムを複雑化させ、高度な概念を社会的に生み出す。複雑なシステムの創発や進化の研究には創発構成論という方法論が不可欠である。本研究では、この方法論により、階層性と意図共有の進化、そして両者を結びつける共創を解明する統合的な研究を行った。その結果、階層性・意図共有の生物進化・文化進化のシナリオ、意図共有の神経基盤、そして、共創的コミュニケーションの在り方に対する提言をすることができた。これらは言語の起源・進化の理解を大きく進めるものであり、技術発展と社会変化が大きく進むの社会を共創的にすることに寄与しうる。
