Research Abstract |
Various properties of chain-like and network structures in soft matters are studied by developing new simulation methods. Examples include nonlinear elasticity of slid-ring gels, linear viscoelasticity of associating polymers, and the chain-like structure formed by stacking of plate-like molecules. Also clarified the mechanism of the deformation of two-component lipid membranes coupled with the lateral phase separation.
