Outline of Annual Research Achievements

ある細胞と別の細胞の主従関係を推定する場合，それら2つの細胞の軌跡データなどを用いて評価されてきた．しかしながら，2つの細胞の振る舞いを決める因子が，その2つの細胞以外にも，第3の細胞が介在する状況なども考えられ，主従関係や因果関係における“原因”と“結果”を解析するためには，単純な対の組み合わせで表現できない多体の相互作用から成り立っている．そのため，多体のあいだの因果関係を推定することは要素間の組み合わせの数が膨大になり，データ科学における難問であった．我々は延長した最終年度はさらに理論を改良することで，生物等の集団運動を模倣する数理モデルに基づいて，細胞間の相互作用が直接的相互作用なのか，それとも第三体を介した間接的相互作用なのかを，2つの要素の軌跡データだけを用いて峻別できることを新規に見出した．また，細胞動態を流体場と見做すことで，大域的な場としての細胞動態と場に応答する細胞個体を解析する新たな解析手法も開発することに成功した．これらは従来法よりも，シンギュラリティ現象を分析する有力なデータ駆動型手法として期待される．
このほか，がん細胞などのレアなシンギュラリティ細胞をできるだけ少ない数の計測点で，かつ精度を保証したうえで，その存在の有無を同定する計測介入型AI分光計測を実現した．AIを計測過程に介入操作させることで，励起照射の形・パターンを自律的に制御し，無駄を省いた必要な分光情報を重点的に獲得するもので，計測時間が大幅に掛かり，生物試料への応用が困難であるラマン分光計測を飛躍的に迅速化するものであり，従来の細胞診では判定困難な病気診断への応用，乳がん診断（手術すべきか否か の迅速診断），iPS 細胞の成熟度の迅速評価，半導体における迅速異常検知，マイクロプラスチックの 迅速検査など様々な応用に繋がるものと期待されている．
