Outline of Annual Research Achievements

昨年度見出した水蒸気プラズマを利用した金の直接接合に関し、Science Advancesに論文発表を行い、プレスリリースを行った。複数社の新聞紙面に掲載され、またNature Electronics誌でResearch Highlightとして紹介されるなどの反響があった。その後他材料での接合試験を行い、これまでに銀の接合を確認している。
また、非展開曲面への超薄型エレクトロニクス貼り付け手法を確立した。熱収縮フィルムを利用して自由曲面上に収縮させることで、密着させることが可能となった。さらに、金接合技術を利用した圧力センサとスマートマスク応用を実現した。
高分子ナノ薄膜の超薄性と柔軟性を利用することで、積層構造を有する身体貼付型の誘電エラストマーアクチュエータ(DEA)の開発を進めた。具体的には、単層カーボンナノチューブ(SWCNT)をポリ(スチレン-b-ブタジエン-b-スチレン)(SBS)ナノシート上に塗布し、柔軟性や皮膚貼付性に優れるSWCNT-SBSナノシートを作製した。SWCNTの層厚が20 nmのSWCNT-SBSナノシート(膜厚:101 nm)は、SBSナノシート(ヤング率:70.5 MPa)と同等のヤング率(80.9 MPa)を示した。このSWCNT-SBS ナノシートを電極として、剛性の異なる 3種類の基材上に10層積層の積層型DEAを作製した。この10層積層型DEAの曲げ剛性は105nN・mと表皮(厚み:100 μm、曲げ剛性:1.10×104 nN・m)よりも柔軟であり、人差し指上に貼付可能なことがわかった。このDEAに2100Vの電圧を印加すると、Ecoflex00-30基板上のDEAはガラス基板上と比較して2倍以上の変位歪み量を示した。今後は、DEAの膜厚構成を最適化することで、駆動電圧の更なる低下や触覚提示(ハプティクス)デバイスへと展開する。

接合技術を応用してストレッチャブルエレクトロニクス応用をすることまでを最終年度の目標とする。さらに、DEAアクチュエータの生体表面上での駆動を目指す。
