Outline of Annual Research Achievements

原子の遷移の際に放出されるニュートリノの測定はニュートリノの微小質量の詳細を探ることが可能である。その検出のためには、QEDによる多重光子放出の背景事象を十分に抑制する必要がある。背景事象抑制の新しい試みとしてレーザーによる位相印加による方法について研究を行った。
長期間に渡ってミュオン異常磁気能率の実験値は素粒子の標準模型から乖離が見られたままである。このズレを解決する模型として、ゲージ対称性を拡張する模型、ヒッグスセクターにフレーバー対称性を要請する模型の構築と実験的制限の詳細な検討を行った。
ニュートリノが質量を持つことからレプトンフレーバーは破れることが知られているが、荷電レプトン系ではその破れは非常に抑制されている。標準模型を超える物理では大きな破れが期待されるため、その破れの検証は新物理に高い感度を持つ。そこで、ミュオン原子におけるレプトンフレーバーの破れの予言について精密計算を行った。
ニュートリノはディラック粒子の可能性とマヨラナ粒子の可能性の両方が指摘されている。理論的にはあまり調べられていない微小質量を予言するディラックニュートリノ模型を構築し、そのヒッグス物理へのインパクトを研究した。
これまでの観測により暗黒物質の存在は疑いはないが、近年の直接観測の精度の向上により制限が強まり特別な機構を持つ暗黒物質候補が注目を集めている。そのような暗黒物質候補を含むバリオン数とレプトン数に関係する理論を研究した。

Reason

レーザーを用いて位相印加することで実験系の運動学を制御し、原子ニュートリノの測定の背景事象となる3光子の放出の過程を禁止する新たな手法を見出した。
ミュオン異常磁気能率のズレを説明する予言能力の高い模型を構築した。模型の予言する新しいボソンをILCで検証する方法、ニュートリノビームを用いて詳細に検証する方法を提案した。
ミュオン原子におけるレプトンフレーバーの破れの予言について、ミュオンの偏極の効果を取りいれることで、放出される電子分布から新物理の寄与を効果的に抜き出す方法を提案した。
量子効果によって微小質量を獲得するディラックニュートリノ模型を構築し、その模型を探るためにはヒッグス粒子によるレプトンフレーバーの破れが重要となることを見出した。
紫外安全な擬南部ゴールドストン暗黒物質模型を構築した結果、長寿命暗黒物質が予言されることを示した。

Strategy for Future Research Activity

原子の遷移の際にニュートリノではなく、新粒子が放出される可能性を検討して新粒子への新たな制限を研究する。
ミュオン異常磁気能率のズレを説明するだけでなく、暗黒物質の残存量との整合性を持った理論の構築を行い、ニュートリノ実験を通した検証方法を検討する。
ミュオン原子におけるレプトンフレーバーの破れのさらなる予言精度の向上を行う。
ディラックニュートリノを予言する模型を系統的に分析する。
大統一理論の観点から擬南部ゴールドストン暗黒物質を検討する。
