Outline of Research at the Start

ウイルスも細菌細胞も、自然が創り出した精巧な分子システムである。本研究では、ウイルス様粒子と細菌様粒子を、バイオ分子と人工材料から計算科学も駆使しながらボトムアップ構築する。相互作用を生み出す分子の時空間的配置を制御して分子システムを構築する方法論を示す。ナノ空間とミクロ空間比較により、スケールをまたいで構造の複雑化と秩序形成が起こる機構を解明、制御し、超越分子システムを構築する学理を導く。
