| Outline of Final Research Achievements |
For interaction design, we explicitly introduced a cognitive model as a user model, and proposed three phases design policy consisting of cognitive modeling, interaction design based cognitive model and experimental evaluation. Thus, based on the design policy, we developed cognitive modeling of understanding adaptive systems, cognitive bias in building leader-follower relationship between a human and an agent. Then, based the developed cognitive models, we actually implemented behaviors of product recommendation virtual agents, emotional expression design of constrained shaped robots, and experimentally evaluated them.
