Research Abstract |
This study is to clarify the type of farming in Large-Scale Sericultural Management. The greater part of type of farming is the combination between sericulture and a rice crop. The rest is that other combination is between sericulture and vegetables, livestock, or mushroom. Next, we have had the farm management survey at six prefectures. In Fukushima Pref. the percentage of combination between sericulture and a rice crop is very high. In Gunma Pref. at Maebashi City and Yoshioka Village three are many types, for example between sericulture and a rice crop, or vegetables, or livestock. In Chiba Pref. the major part of types is between sericulture and vegetables. In Kagoshima Pref. we can see many types between sericulture and beef cattle, or mushroom. In Ehime pref. we see type between sericulture and vegetables. As a result, we can point out four types of farming, between sericulture and a rice crop, vegetables, livestock, or mushroom, in general.
