| Research Abstract |
1 魚類からインターロイキン6,17,22,26の遺伝子を初めてクローニングに成功した。
2 魚類では従来1種類しかないとされていた腫瘍壊死因子(TNF)の遺伝子がほ乳類と同じように染色体上で複数並んでいることを発見した。
3 魚類ではほ乳類と異なり、インターフェロンガンマの遺伝子が染色体上で2つタンデムに並んでいることを見いだした。
4 インターロイキン2のファミリーとしてほ乳類で知られているインターロイキン2,15,21以外に魚類では、新しいタイプの遺伝子が存在することを発見した。
5 これらのサイトカイン遺伝子を用いて、魚類の免疫賦活剤の効果判定が可能なことを示した。
