Research Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to clarify the fixing conditions of the new bearers of farming, who newly enter into farming from non-agricultural section, including the returned successors to the family farm. It is found out there are two types of new comers, from our investigation at the hokkaido and other prefectures in 1993-1994. First type, their motive to enter into farming is to live close to nature. Second type, they have capitalistic farm business mind, make choice of farming as the business. There are three patterns in the way to enter into farming. The first pattern is direct entering. The second, they have training of farming in some agricultural production organization before entering. And third, they become employee or constituents of some agricultural production corporation. Above any Patterns, they are coming the torchbearers of local agriculture. It is nesessary to establish regionally supporting system, for the fixing condition of the new bearers of agriculture.
