Research Abstract

ポリ(スチレン-b-2-ビニルピリジン-b-エチレンオキシド)のようなABC型(非対称型)トリブロック共重合体をB、Cに選択的な溶媒に溶解すると、Aをコア、Bをシェル、Cをコロナとするミセルを形成することが知られている。本研究は、このようなコアーシェルーコロナ型高分子ミセルを鋳型とする新しい中空金属超微粒子の合成法を確立することを目的とした。
平成19年度は陽イオン性ABC型トリブロック共重合体ミセルを鋳型とする中空パラジウム超微粒子の合成を試みた。
【1】高分子ミセルの調製 ポリ(スチレン-b-2-ビニルピリジン-b-エチレンオキシド)(略称:PS-b-PVP-b-PEO)をジメチルフォルムアミド(DMF)に溶かした後、透析法によって溶媒を段階的に水に置き換えて高分子ミセル(直径:約100nm)を得た。
【2】中空パラジウム微粒子の合成 前記【1】の高分子ミセル水溶液にpH5以下で前駆体PdC1_4^<2->イオンを加えてPVP層に静電結合させた。これをNaBH_4で還元して金属パラジウム層を生成させた。その後、空気雰囲気下で焼結してパラジウム微粒子を得た。得られたパラジウム微粒子を透過型電子顕微鏡で測定したところ、中空粒子ではなく、中実ナノ粒子であった。その原因は不明であるが、今後、前駆体濃度、pH、還元条件などを変化させて、中空粒子が得られるように検討を行う予定である。
