About the traditional system for the iconographical study in the History of Art, I could introduce the system from the points of the method of comparison and the interpertation of the subject. On the other hand, I could write about the actual homepages useful on Internet for the study of art history in Europe and in the United States, for exemple, Joconde, MNR,Imagebase in San Francisco Museum, etc.
Using these photographic documents and the methods, I could publish several articles, treating the iconographies of the life of Saint Francis Xavier in the painting of Jean Le Clerc, as well as the catalog of the portraits of the saint in the beginning of the 17th century. I could also find the meaning of the <flaming heart> represented with Saint Augustin. About the iconography of Nicolas Poussin's <<Master of the Faleries>> (Louvre), Icould explain the process of the composition and its iconography.
