Research Abstract

スルホコハク酸をベースとするアニオン(bis(2-ethylhexyl)sulfosuccinateおよびdi(isobutyl)sulfosuccinate)と、サイズの異なる対称4級アウキルアンモニウムを構成カチオンからなる、イオン液体のハイパー・レイリー散乱実験を引き続き行い、双極子および四重極子の秩序性が、カチオンのサイズに依存することを明らかにした。さらに、カチオンのファンデアワールス半径が1nmの時に、アニオンの秩序性がもっとも大きくなることを見いだした。これらの結果は、イオン液体におけるミクロ相分離構造が存在することを示唆するものであり、最近、分子動力学計算や、中性子散乱、X線散乱などの実験から示唆される結果と一致するものである。この結果は、イオン液体試料の不純物に由来する蛍光を、イオン液体の十分な精製によって十分に低減させることによって、初めて得ることができたものである。これらの成果を、現在投稿論文としてまとめているところである。
