Research Abstract |
本研究では,視覚的意識のあり方を知るべく,逆に視対象が意識から消失する状況を特定し,その原因を明らかにするアプローチをとってきた.特に,視対象が意識から消失する現象として「オブジェクト置き換えマスキング」と「注意の瞬き」を取り上げた. 視覚運動処理に重要なV5/MT+あるいはV5/MT+と相互投射するV1に反復経頭蓋磁気刺激を施行し,その機能を一時的に抑制するとオブジェクト置き換えマスキングが減少することを明らかにした.この成果はJournal of Experimental Psychology:Human Perception and Performance 誌に掲載された.これに関連して,V5/MT+に反復経頭蓋磁気刺激を施行すると仮現運動の知覚が損なわれることを示した.この成果については日本認知心理学会で発表し,NeumscIence Letters誌に掲載された. イメージレベルの効果を統制したうえで主観的輪郭線から構成される主観的図形をマスク刺激としてもオブジェクト置き換えマスキングが生じることから,高次のオブジェクトレベルの干渉が実際に作用している証拠を示した.この成果については国際誌に投稿し,査読を経て改稿ののち,再投稿中である. 二つ目のターゲットを正答した場合の一つ目のターゲットのパフォーマンスを分析することで,注意の瞬きに同期する形で一つ目のターゲットのパフォーマンスが低下することを明らかにした.この成果についてはannual OPAM meetingで発表した.
