| Research Abstract |
1. Commercial sponsored broadcasting has started in Ogasawara on 1^<st> April 1996.
2. We did questionnaire aurveys twice ; before and after it began.
3. Before it began, 60% of people in Ogasawara watched TV for only 2 hours. But after that have watched TV for more than 3 hours.
4. People in Ogasawara are now concerned about next 3 points of the influences of TV.
a. TV may standardize the way of living.
b. TV may encourage juvenile delinquency.
c. TV may change manners and customs.
